Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Experienced Clinical Research Associate to support regionally aligned monitoring across the US. The CRA will perform site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits, either on-site or remotely, ensuring ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance.

You will verify informed consent, manage CRF data accuracy, and collaborate with site staff to maintain study timelines. Travel up to 75% is expected with ongoing training and QA readiness support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (performed on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP) and protocol compliance.
• Verifies the process of obtaining informed consent and protects confidentiality; assesses factors affecting subject safety and data integrity.
• Conducts Source Document Review and validates CRF data; supports query resolution and data capture efficiency.
• Manages IP inventory, storage, and ensures proper dispensing per protocol.
• Maintains ISF and TMF reconciliation; ensures archiving per guidelines and regulations.
• Documents activities and supports recruitment, retention and data tracking; communicates with sites and project team.
• Understands project scope, budgets, timelines; coordinates site-level communications to meet objectives.
• Acts as liaison with study site personnel; ensures training and compliance of site team.
• Prepares for Investigator Meetings and sponsor meetings; participates in global project staff meetings.
• Supports audit readiness and follow-up actions; maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements.
