Job summary

Pelago Health is seeking a Care Quality Program Manager to lead clinical quality and accreditation readiness for Pelago's care programs. You will run clinical audits across the care team, co-lead our Quality and Safety Committee, and act as the clinical lead for Joint Commission readiness from policy development through survey day.

This high-ownership role requires a clinician who can translate audit findings into updated policies, protocols, and tools, then verify improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in clinical quality, compliance, or auditing, with hands-on auditing, quality program management, or accreditation readiness.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in good standing (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN, or licensed psychologist).
• Strong written communication; ability to document audit findings, committee summaries, and accreditation materials clearly.
• Organized and accountable; able to track follow-through without constant reminders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to shape scope over time.

Responsibilities

• Run the Quality and Safety Committee and track follow-through on decisions.
• Lead clinical readiness for Joint Commission accreditation, including policies and mock audits.
• Translate Joint Commission requirements into practical guidance for clinicians and care teams.
• Audit clinical work and ensure documentation and protocol adherence.
• Deliver actionable reports with patterns and recommendations for managers.
• Identify policy, tooling, or process gaps and propose updates with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
