Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a self-driven RN or LPN to join as Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator. This 100% remote role focuses on QA of peer review reports, ensuring accuracy, clinical citations, and adherence to client specifications and regulatory mandates.

The position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently from home, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN nursing license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical or related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and lab values.
• Proficient typing speed and basic computer skills (40 WPM).
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports and related documents.
• Provide evidence-based rationales for recommendations and determinations.
• Ensure client instructions are followed and questions addressed.
• Cite clinical references from reputable journals and publications.
• Maintain high-quality report content, format and appearance per standards.
• Verify board specialty review and absence of conflicts of interest.
