Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and members. You will work on programs to improve health outcomes, focusing on medications and medication therapy, and help drive comprehensive medication reviews.

You will perform semi-routine administrative and customer support tasks, with opportunities to help educate members and collaborate with pharmacists. Training and career growth opportunities are provided in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

Resident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes.
Must have a designated work area with a door that locks.

Responsibilities

Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members.
Collect medication history information.
Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review.
Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications.
Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns.
Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling.
