Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and members in improving health outcomes through medication therapy programs and comprehensive medication reviews.

You will handle outbound and inbound calls, collect medication histories, assist with MTM initiatives, and help educate members on prescription drug usage. Occasional travel to offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Resident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes.
• Must have a designated work area with a door that locks.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members.
• Collect medication history information.
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review.
• Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications.
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns.
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling.
