Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Louisville, KY. This remote position requires residency in KY or IN and focuses on acquiring standard products, equipment, and services for clinical and non-clinical operations.

You will create and expedit e POs, follow up on orders, manage non-catalog items, identify alternate items, and resolve invoice discrepancies while delivering excellent service to clinicians and facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of procurement or related experience, or 3 years in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies, equipment and services preferred.
• Experience in a complex procurement environment with focus on supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders; expedite orders and follow up on open orders.
• Process non-catalog item requests and identify alternate items.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely invoicing.
