Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville seeks a Buyer to join our supply chain team. This remote role requires residency in KY or IN and focuses on procuring standard products, equipment, and services for clinical and non-clinical operations.

You will handle PO creation, expediting, open order follow-up, non-catalog item requests, and invoice discrepancy resolution while delivering excellent customer service and supporting accounts payable and end-user departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year experience, or 3 years procurement or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies, equipment and services preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a diverse procurement environment with supply chain/purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Procure standard products, equipment, and services for clinical and non-clinical operations.
• Create purchase orders and expedite orders.
• Follow open orders and handle non-catalog item requests.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and support accounts payable.
• Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to improve service quality.
