Baptist Health is seeking a Buyer to join our team in a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN. The Buyer will handle PO creation, expediting orders, non-catalog item requests, and invoice discrepancy management within Baptist Healthcare System’s Louisville service delivery center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year of procurement or related experience, or 3 years of procurement experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies, equipment and services preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a diverse, complex procurement environment.
• Customer-centered approach in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Procure standard products, equipment, and services for procedural, clinical, and non-clinical operations.
• Create purchase orders, expedite orders, monitor open orders, and handle non-catalog item requests.
• Identify alternate items and manage invoice discrepancies.
• Support Accounts Payable and facilitate bill-only POs.
• Provide high level of customer service and proactive supply chain management with clinicians and stakeholders.
• Communicate to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
