Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a fully remote, PRN position in its Refill Authorization Pharmacy Team.

The role supports primary care clinics across Intermountain, focusing on medication refill authorizations and patient access to care. Candidates must hold a current pharmacist license in UT, CO, MT, or NV and be prepared for an on-camera Teams interview, onsite meetings if required, and a flexible 8- or 10-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license required in UT, CO, MT or NV.
• Commitment to medication management and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for allergy interactions, duplications, appropriateness of drug therapy, and drug interactions; provide evidence-based interventions.
• Oversee and ensure medications are prepared, delivered timely, and securely stored.
• Complete regulatory and compliance training and ensure documentation aligns with laws and SOPs.
• Solve problems related to equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing, and patient care concerns.
• Identify process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
