Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist for a fully remote, PRN position in the Refill Authorization Pharmacy Team. You will review medication orders, ensure appropriate therapies, and support primary care clinics across Intermountain. Strong clinical pharmacotherapy knowledge and teamwork are essential.

This role requires an active Pharmacist license in Utah, Colorado, Montana or Nevada. On-camera video interviews will be conducted, and onsite meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the allowed states (UT, CO, MT, NV).
• Strong clinical pharmacotherapy knowledge and patient-centered care.
• Commitment to medication management and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for allergy interactions, duplication, appropriateness, and drug interactions; provides evidence-based interventions.
• Ensures medications are prepared and delivered timely and stored securely.
• Completes regulatory training and stays compliant with state and federal pharmacy laws and policies.
• Takes initiative to resolve issues including equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing, and patient care concerns.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
