Qualifications

• PharmD degree required and licensed to practice in the US.
• 3+ years pharmacist experience.
• Experience with prior authorization, utilization management, or clinical review.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate prior authorization requests for medications.
• Apply clinical guidelines to determine coverage decisions.
• Assess appeals and reconsideration requests.
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with physicians as needed.
• Support QA initiatives and clinical audits.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on pharmacy-related questions.
• Promote safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication use.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
