Job summary

Walrus Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to engage with members via the Walrus app, deliver direct patient care, and collaborate on clinical initiatives. This remote role supports after-hours coverage and may require travel.

You will hold a PharmD, be licensed in Illinois and another state, complete a residency (PGY-1 or PGY-2), and bring 2+ years of patient-facing experience with strong data interpretation and communication.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree.
• Active pharmacist license in Illinois and at least one additional U.S. state.
• Residency program completion (PGY-1 or PGY-2).
• 2+ years experience working directly with patients and healthcare providers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, databases, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with members to build trust and develop tailored care plans.
• Provide clinical coverage outside of standard business hours when required.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other Walrus team members on clinical and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in client and prospect calls as needed.
• Remote work and travel as needed.
