Piper Companies seeks a Clinical Operations Manager for a fully remote permanent role in the clinical research sector. You will lead operational oversight across multiple studies, ensuring execution meets quality standards, timelines, and budgets globally.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical research with leadership experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with CTMS/EDC and MS Office. Collaborate cross-functionally with sponsors, vendors, and sites to optimize study delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
5+ years of clinical research experience with at least 2 years in a clinical operations leadership, management, or study management role.
Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and global clinical trial processes.
Experience overseeing CROs, vendors, and cross-functional clinical teams across multiple studies.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operational oversight of clinical trials from start-up through closeout.
Collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, vendors, and investigative sites to support study execution and issue resolution.
Monitor study performance metrics, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; address operational risks.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, guidelines, study protocols, and SOPs.
Support development and implementation of process improvements for quality and efficiency.
