Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to join the Operational Change Analysis team. This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in MO or IL.

You will apply informatics methods to improve care delivery, gather data, drive decision making, and support the rollout of EHR enhancements and standardized workflows across the organization. The role requires 2–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and Epic knowledge with certification likely within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in clinical informatics or related field.
• Epic Certification (RHB390) preferred; certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in coordinating projects within healthcare IT and workflow analysis.
• Remote position restricted to MO or IL residents.

Responsibilities

• Leads identification and design of consistent workflows with Clinical stakeholders and promotes standardization; drives adoption of electronic solutions.
• Assists stakeholders in identifying and resolving application issues; communicates solutions and ensures sustainable adoption.
• Provides consultative services to stakeholders, application and development teams for workflow processes and technical solutions.
• Coordinates clinical and IT teams to use efficient decision making processes to build consensus and improve IT processes for clinical workflows.
• Prepares, educates, and offers technical support during integration of new or updated computer applications into healthcare workflows.
