Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to organize and implement an infrastructure for a market Clinical Education Service Line.

The role includes data entry, routine database maintenance, and standard report generation, as well as support activities related to classroom coordination, registration oversight, documentation of participation, scheduling, and procurement of teaching materials.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree Required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare, education, business or finance Required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day operations of market Clinical Education Service Line, including nursing student placements and schedules and facilitates communication with clinical education employees.
• Supports clinical educators in scheduling classes and ensures classes have appropriate education materials and equipment.
• Provides prompt, accurate information to help the hospital maintain accreditation standards (Joint Commission, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
• Serves as HealthStream administrator, building e-learning classes, maintaining student groups, entering data and generating reports.
• Assists the Market Director of Clinical Professional Development with preparing and overseeing business reports and budgets.
