AdventHealth is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team supporting pediatric services. The role focuses on obtaining accurate physician documentation for clinical conditions and procedures, educating care teams, and collaborating across departments.

You will work with CDI software, ensure timely reviews, and maintain a high response rate to clarifications while upholding quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the United States.
• 5+ acute care nursing experience.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation guidelines.
• Experience with pediatric services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patient-care teams on documentation guidelines.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses.
• Reviews records for SOI and ROM accuracy.
• Transcribes clarifications to CDI software.
• Participates in department meetings and process improvement.
