Job summary

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a McKesson subsidiary, seeks a Clinical Budget Analyst to develop trial budgets, negotiate with sponsors, and present proposals to executives. This remote US position requires relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Responsibilities include creating budgets, negotiating terms, and maintaining rapid communication with stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and Excel proficiency are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 1 year of financial principles experience.
• At least 1 year of budget negotiation experience.
• Proficient Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and complex formulas.
• Familiarity with clinical research or medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Create budgets in Excel from study protocols and cost data.
• Negotiate budgets with Sponsors/CROs to optimize overall outcomes.
• Communicate budget statuses to executive management.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to clarify protocol specifics and billable items.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
