Job summary

RhythmScience Inc. is seeking an Applied Research Scientist, Clinical AI to own the ML depth for Heart Failure AI features and the RS360 integration, while working remotely across US time zones.

You will shape model quality, evaluation, and deployment, turning cardiac data into real-world population outcomes reporting for customers. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead rigorous evaluations, push models into production, and develop cohort analytics, with a strong emphasis on PHI

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying clinical/biomedical ML models.
• Data handling with real-world, messy, sparse or weakly labeled data.
• Knowledge of ML evaluation methods and leakage prevention.
• Strong written communication for remote, asynchronous teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy rigorous evaluations for ML outputs to ensure clinical safety.
• Ship production models integrated with the RS360 backend.
• Build population analytics from patient data accounting for confounders.
• Backtest against human notes to build trust with engineering, product, and clinical teams.
• Protect PHI and balance data privacy with utility.
