FAO Timor-Leste seeks an Enhanced Transparency Expert to provide high-level technical coordination for the combined BTR1/NC3, ensuring alignment with UNFCCC ETF requirements and quality standards.

The home-based role includes coordination with national and international experts, guidance on reporting frameworks, and oversight of the integrated reporting workplan. The assignment is a 60-day engagement over eight months as a WE A consultant, with possible missions to Dili.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate preparation of an integrated BTR1/NC3 consistent with UNFCCC ETF requirements.
• Guide national teams on BTR and National Communication requirements for NDC tracking, mitigation, projections, impacts, vulnerability, adaptation and loss and damage.
• Review indicators, methodologies, baselines, assumptions and data sources for tracking NDC implementation.
