Job summary

Waterplan is seeking a Climate Risk Consultant in a remote, advisory role within the Professional Services team to support climate risk indicators, scenario analysis, and CSRD/IFRS disclosure work. Direct client interaction is not the core focus, but collaboration with PS and Product teams is essential.

You will help build indicators for physical and transition risks, align with IFRS S2 and ESRS, assess financial impacts, and prepare disclosure-ready documentation while staying aligned with

Qualifications

• 7+ years in climate risk, resilience, or disclosure consulting.
• Experience with IFRS S2 and CSRD/ESRS requirements.
• Ability to translate climate scenarios into financial impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Build climate risk indicators and a risk framework for physical and transition risk.
• Design indicators using hazard × exposure × vulnerability concepts and aggregate logic.
• Support scenario analysis aligned with IFRS S2 and ESRS methodologies.
• Write specifications, data dictionaries, and methodology notes for product teams.
• Advise on financial implications of climate scenarios for client sectors.
• Contribute to CSRD disclosures and internal knowledge sharing.
