Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in program/project management or related field; nonprofit, policy, advocacy, or civil rights experience preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental and climate justice issues.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• Experience leading small- and large-scale projects in dynamic nonprofit environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Public speaking and presentation skills for high-profile audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Experience planning meetings and large events; training skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of a strategic portfolio of work.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing campaigns, initiatives, and projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, objectives, and timelines; coordinate resources to meet schedule and budget.
• Ensure responsive communication with internal and external partners.
• Develop resources, letters, presentations, and other materials.
• Manage and coordinate team, committees, speaking engagements, conferences, and meetings.
• Foster and host virtual and in-person meetings to expand the Center’s network.
• Track multi-year program initiatives and financial performance.
• Draft administrative reports, briefs, and public communications.
• Coordinate reporting and track key metrics and outcomes of grant-funded work.
• Draft reports and memoranda for various audiences
• Liaise with teams and audiences; provide representation as needed.
• Utilize tools to improve efficiencies and quality of work.
• Deliver high-quality, timely work product.
• Think strategically and adapt to change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
