Job summary

Climate Justice Alliance seeks a Policy Coordinator to support daily policy advocacy activities. The role reports to the Legislative Manager and collaborates with the Policy Team and allies nationwide to advance justice-driven policy work.

The position is remote, based in the U.S. with travel to DC and regional events. You will handle logistics, research, and communications to help execute policy priorities and engage coalition partners.

Qualifications

• Ease learning and leveraging project management and internal communications tools and systems (Basecamp, NextCloud, Powerbase).
• Familiarity with climate policy and environmental justice frameworks.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Congress and its functions and national political landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Policy Team, policy working groups, and coalition spaces (50%).
• Support policy research, legislative analysis and member engagement efforts (40%).
• Build a healthy, sustainable organizational work culture and participate in cross-team learning and development (10%).
