Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Client Manager Associate, Premier in the United States to strengthen client relationships in the small-group employee benefits market. You will manage a focused book of business, collaborate with brokers and internal teams, and drive renewal strategies, plan performance assessments, and opportunities for expanded coverage.

You will balance competitive pricing with sustainable growth, working with Sales, Underwriting, Service, and Claims to deliver superior client

Qualifications

Relationship management with external stakeholders and partners.
Strong written and verbal communication to explain renewal decisions and options.
Customer service mindset with consultative selling and negotiation skills.
Numerical and analytical abilities to assess experience, utilization, pricing, and plan design.
Working knowledge of group insurance products, contracts, and underwriting principles.
Ability to collaborate with brokers, sales partners, underwriting, service, and claims teams.
Excellent planning and prioritization to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, results-driven approach focused on retention and growth.
Licensing: obtain required licenses within 90 days and maintain via continuing education.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in insurance, sales, account management or similar customer-facing role.
Familiarity with ancillary group insurance products.

Responsibilities

Portfolio management of a dedicated book of business focusing on retention and growth.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, producers, plan holders, and partners.
Interpret and communicate renewal recommendations and pricing strategies.
Review experience and utilization to assess plan performance.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Collaborate with underwriting to negotiate renewal outcomes and rate relief.
Coordinate renewal plans with Sales Representatives to hit targets.
Use Salesforce and other systems to monitor renewal activity.
Partner with underwriting, sales support, service, and claims to ensure high-quality service.
Serve as a resource on insurance products and internal processes.
Obtain required licenses within 90 days and maintain them through continuing education.
