Ladders is seeking an Integration Engineer to work on complex technical integrations with major customers in the Finance & Insurance space. The role will partner closely with sales, implementation, product, and engineering teams to guide customers through the integration journey, from architecture through code, while communicating technical concepts clearly.

Location is remote with a Chicago focus, offering a blend of hands-on engineering and customer-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software or integration engineering.
• Proficiency in code-level debugging across internal systems and client code.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• User-first mindset with strong empathy for customers.
• Confident in customer interactions and presentations.
• Broad technical expertise across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to enhance client engagement and support revenue growth.
• Plan and execute end-to-end integration engineering work, from architecture through code.
• Communicate technical concepts and platform functionality clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Educate users and the developer community on best practices and practical integration approaches.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for major customers and partners.
• Stay current on new technologies and represent the company at industry events.
• Provide feedback and best practices to product and engineering teams.
