Job summary

Connection is seeking a Client Experience Associate to support customers and partners from a remote NC location. You will handle orders, provide timely quotes, and assist with reporting and RMAs to ensure smooth IT hardware, software, and services fulfillment.

The role emphasizes clear communication, fast learning, and organized data entry in ERP/CRM systems, with daily collaboration across a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to understand customer needs and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training within first two months.
• Articulate with strong written and spoken communication.
• Organized mindset with timely order tracking.
• Experience in Inside Sales or similar client-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds timely to client requests and places basic simple orders within guidelines.
• Understands shipment cutoff times for major distribution partners.
• Communicates order placement ETA and back-order information to clients.
• Escalates cost changes/EOL to Sales Operations or account manager.
• Provides timely basic quotes for simple velocity products (within 4 hours).
• Assists with quotes for accounts with established pricing.
• Provides administrative support for open order tracking and reporting.
• Researches open orders and provides ETA information in reports.
• Enters and updates order information for team access.
• Uses tools to provide customers with scheduled or one-off reports.
• Escalates complex requests on orders/reports to team members.
• Works with management on requests outside existing reports.
• Responds to client emails for tracking, serials, packing slips, etc.
• Initiates returned merchandise process (RMA).
• Educates client on RMA creation and records in system.
• Escalates all RMA requests to Customer Service Remote (Mon-Fri daytime).
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
