Qualifications

• 5 years of California Workers' Compensation claims management experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: California.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for a wide span of control; may delegate duties.
• Identifies trends, problems, and actions; informs management and coordinates with projects.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims and claims beyond authority.
• Maintains contact with clients and promotes professional client relationships.
