Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead for Workers' Compensation with jurisdiction and licensing in NV. The role supervises multiple examiner teams, ensures compliance, and maintains client relationships.

A Senior claims leader will review complex files, provide technical guidance, and drive quality improvements across the unit. This remote-enabled leadership position offers flexible scheduling, professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
• Licensing / Jurisdiction Knowledge: NV REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff; may delegate duties.
• Identifies trends and advises management on actions; coordinates with projects.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Compiles reviews and analyzes management reports and takes action.
• Performs quality review on claims per audit requirements and quality standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client issues; implements final disposition.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims and claims beyond examiner authority.
• Maintains client contact and promotes professional relationships.
• Ensures claims files are properly coded and documented.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).
