Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims solutions, is seeking a Claims Team Lead - Workers Compensation for NV with hybrid work options. You will supervise multiple examiner teams, provide jurisdictional direction on claims adjudication, and ensure quality and compliance across the unit.

You will mentor staff, review complex claims, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring licensing compliance in the jurisdictions served.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years claims supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers compensation.
• Identifies trends, problems and recommends actions; coordinates with management projects.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Performs quality review on claims in compliance with audit requirements.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues; implements final disposition.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high cost claims and claims beyond an examiner's authority.
• Maintains contact with clients and promotes professional relationships.
• Ensures reports are properly coded and documentation is adequate.
