Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a customer service-oriented professional to assist in resolving claims-related concerns and to provide education that maintains high customer satisfaction. You will participate in cross-training and contribute to process improvements within the Customer Service team.

You will review benefits, guide staff on policy applications, and support members and providers with claims issues. Strong communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Priority given to candidates with healthcare or claims knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer concerns and provide education to maintain satisfaction.
• Assist in claims review to determine coverage and benefits.
• Provide guidance to peers on claims resolution policies and procedures.
• Offer daily support and advice to member and provider services staff on claims issues.
• Research claim issues and identify criteria for reconsideration for payment.
