Job summary

AllCare Health in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a Claims Processing Supervisor to lead the Claims processing team and ensure performance targets are met. The role combines hands-on training, workflow optimization, and adherence to HIPAA and policy guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of managed care or Medicare/Medicaid claims experience, strong knowledge of ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS, and supervisory skills. Onsite position with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in managed care, Medicare, and/or Medicaid claims processing or equivalent (2+ years total)
• Solid understanding of core claims concepts (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, COB, pre-existing conditions) and workflows
• Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, RUG, HIPPS codes
• Knowledge of CMS 1500, UB-04 forms (paper and electronic)
• CPC, CPMA, CPCB or CPC-P certification required within 12 months of hire
• Prior supervisory, lead, or training experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and training for new hires and monthly mandatory trainings
• Maintain a professional, service-oriented workplace culture with high performance standards
• Maintain production and quality logs and reports for individual and department performance
• Review, update, and maintain desktop procedures and training materials for claims processing staff
• Organize workflow and delegate responsibilities, including coverage during absences
• Monitor team productivity and provide regular feedback
• Communicate system changes and process improvements to the supervisor
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports
• Ensure HIPAA and PHI compliance in procedures and references materials
