Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services seeks a Claims Supervisor to lead the PACE claims team in a remote role. Overseeing processing and operations, you will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across programs while coordinating with executives and cross-functional teams.

The role requires knowledge of HIPAA and CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, plus 2+ years in claims processing. The position offers strong leadership exposure and competitive compensation within VOANS' mission-driven

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA law.
• Thorough knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CM and DRG coding.
• Knowledge of PACE regulations.
• Ability to handle interruptions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate computerized equipment.
• Ability to meet stated requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours with minimal travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage in-house claims processing and operations across all VOANS PACE Organizations.
• Monitor daily claims inventory and ensure timely processing and escalation when needed.
• Report department activities and KPIs to the Director of Health Plan Operations.
• Supervise Claims Adjudicators, Claims Processors, and other staff, including hiring and evaluations.
• Develop and implement claims processing policies for efficient adjudication.
• Monitor productivity and adherence to service levels.
• Prepare routine claims KPIs and financial reports for leadership.
• Coordinate escalated claims resolutions and communicate results to leadership.
• Support various projects across PACE Organizations and related programs.
