Assurant offers a 12-week Internship Program designed to provide real-world experience in claims operations and business functions. The Claims Operations Intern will support residential property claims, engage in cross-functional learning, and contribute to process improvements while working with experienced professionals.

The program includes onboarding, mentorship, hands-on assignments, a summer project, and opportunities to present findings.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester remaining after the summer internship.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Available to participate in the full internship from May 17, 2027 through August 7, 2027.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Discretion with customer and company information.

Aufgaben

• Learn how residential property claims are reviewed, documented, processed, and resolved.
• Support operational activities involving claim documentation, reporting, workflow management, quality review, and process improvement.
• Work with Claims professionals across different business areas to understand responsibilities and contributions to the lifecycle.
• Assist with research, data gathering, analysis, and documentation supporting current priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve a Claims process, workflow, technology, training approach, or customer experience.
• Complete a structured internship project with objectives, milestones and deliverables.
• Present project findings and recommendations to Claims colleagues and leaders.
• Participate in team meetings, mentorship, and the internship learning program.
