Job summary

Swyfft, LLC is seeking a Property & Casualty Claims Litigation Specialist, Coverage. You’ll be the technical resource for coverage analysis on homeowners, commercial property, and general liability claims, including duty to defend vs indemnify.

This 100% remote US-based role requires experience with habitational risks and bodily injury matters, plus collaboration with counsel. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in coverage issue handling and litigation, plus strong communication skills and the

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience handling coverage issues on property and casualty claims.
• 5-7 years of litigation experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience drafting coverage correspondence (reservation of rights letters, coverage denial letters, DISCLAIMERS).
• Experience directing or monitoring outside defense/coverage counsel.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as an adjuster in TX, FL, CA, and NY.

Responsibilities

• Review coverage on assigned claims and draft coverage correspondence.
• Speak with insureds, claimants, and counsel to communicate decisions.
• Evaluate large or complex injury demands as they relate to coverage.
• Monitor defense and coverage counsel for cost containment and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate claim handling notation in the claims system.
