Job summary

Swyfft, LLC is seeking a Property and Casualty Claims Litigation Specialist for a 100% remote U.S.-based role. You will handle homeowners, commercial property, and general liability claims from investigation through resolution, applying legal defenses and negotiating appropriate outcomes.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of casualty/general liability adjuster experience, multi-state litigation exposure, and the ability to direct defense counsel while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of casualty/general liability adjuster experience.
• 5+ years of litigation experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience drafting initial coverage letters and familiarity with habitational risks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine liability in third-party damages and injuries with final settlement in mind.
• Ensure timely resolution, accurate reserving, and fair handling per guidelines.
• Review litigated complaints and develop strategies with counsel.
• Coordinate with external defense counsel and provide direction on liability and damages.
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, experts, and service providers to analyze loss information.
• Calculate damages payable and make payments after liability is determined.
