Job summary

Porch Group is seeking a Claims Associate to provide excellent customer service, manage inbound calls and emails, verify coverage, and set up claims. You will work with adjusters, vendors, and examiners to support a team handling insureds and claimants in a remote Colombian setup.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year claims/customer service experience, strong English writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining critical claims information and setting up a claim in the claims system (PTS).
• Answering incoming phone calls.
• Submitting claim and inspection requests to adjusters and vendors.
• Investigating prior claims and related information for adjusters.
• Investigating weather and storm information using the internet.
• Supports mail distribution, filing, and scanning; managing diary entries.
• Maintaining positive internal and external work relationships.
• Assisting insureds, agents, and claimants with information, questions or concerns.
• Inputting expense and claims checks as needed; supporting the Claims Department.
