Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience required.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of claims investigation, settlement procedures, and state laws.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with claimants and clients to build relationships.
• Accurately set reserves, process payments, and document activity.
• Provide fair, timely claim disposition consistent with standards.
• Use analytical skills to resolve issues inherent in handling claims.
