Job summary

SIRVA Inc. is seeking a Claims Analyst to settle cargo claims within 30 days of receipt. You will investigate, review contracts, gather information from all parties, and coordinate repair assessments to determine liability and proper settlements.

This role emphasizes verification, negotiation, and ad hoc projects. Requirements include 1–3 years in claims or customer service, strong verbal and written skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Verify and investigate all aspects of the claim to determine liability.
Review contracts,Repair reports, and customer communications for liability assessment.
Maintain precise records to support approvals or denials.
Instruct repair firms to provide inspection reports for timely settlements.
Assess claim values, evaluate repair options vs cash-out, and negotiate settlements.
