Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Claims Advocate with commercial claims experience for multiple lines of business. The role is fully remote for Florida-based candidates, with occasional on-site requirements per policy.

You will manage client advocacy, service, and complex claim resolutions while coordinating with carriers and producers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in claims handling and an active adjuster license, with strong MS Office skills and a commitment to exceptional client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience in an agency advocate or liaison role.
• Licensed Insurance Adjuster or state equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle large work volumes with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Meet production, quality, and service expectations.
• Deliver outstanding service by anticipating client needs and responding promptly.
• Serve as a dedicated advocate, providing ongoing support and consultation.
• Manage complex or delayed claims to ensure timely outcomes.
• Review loss reports and take corrective actions.
• Track claim activities and follow up as needed.
• Conduct and participate in formal claims reviews and audits.
• Monitor workers compensation claims and drive to closure.
• Perform reserve analysis to ensure accurate reserves.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to influence outcomes.
• Act as intermediary between clients and carriers for resolutions.
• Provide education on statute changes and state-specific procedures.
• Identify trends and collaborate on risk mitigation.
• Assist with Producer presentations and claims insights.
• Prepare stewardship and unit stat reporting per standards.
