Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Claims Advocate with commercial experience in multiple lines (GL, WC, PL, Auto, etc.). An adjuster license is required. The role is fully remote for Florida-based candidates, with hybrid onsite options as needed by policy.

Responsibilities include client advocacy, service delivery, claims resolution, data management, and reporting. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of claims handling, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience; preferred issue in agency advocate or liaison role.
• Licensed Insurance Adjuster or state equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet production, quality, and service expectations.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond promptly to needs.
• Serve as advocate, providing ongoing support and consultation.
• Manage complex or delayed claims to ensure timely resolutions.
• Review loss reports and take corrective actions.
• Monitor claim activities and follow up as needed.
• Conduct claims reviews and audits.
• Oversee workers compensation claims and drive to closure.
• Perform reserve analysis and ensure timely reserves.
• Build relationships with carriers to influence outcomes.
• Mediate between clients and carriers for resolutions.
• Educate clients on statutes and procedures.
• Identify trends and mitigate risk with Risk Advocates.
• Support sales with claims insights and presentations.
• Prepare stewardship and unit stat reporting.
