Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Claims Advocate with commercial experience across at least two lines of business. A Florida-based adjuster license is required. The role is fully remote for Florida-based candidates, with occasional onsite needs per policy.

Expect to manage advocacy, data, reporting, and claim resolutions while supporting producers and clients. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in claims handling, a valid adjuster license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience.
• Licensed Insurance Adjuster or state equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform large work volumes with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Meet production, quality, and service expectations.
• Deliver outstanding client service by anticipating needs and responding promptly.
• Act as dedicated advocate, providing ongoing support and consultation.
• Manage complex or delayed claims for timely, favorable outcomes.
• Review loss reports and take corrective actions.
• Track claim activities and perform follow-ups.
• Conduct claims reviews and audits.
• Monitor workers compensation claims and drive to closure.
• Perform reserve analysis to ensure accurate case reserves.
• Build strong carrier relationships to influence outcomes.
• Facilitate mediation between clients and carriers.
• Educate clients on statutes, procedures, and best practices.
• Identify trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with Risk Advocates.
• Assist with producer presentations and claims insights for sales.
• Prepare stewardship and unit stat reports.
