Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Claims Advocate with commercial claims experience across multiple lines. The role is fully remote for Florida-based candidates, with occasional onsite needs per policy.

You will oversee client advocacy, service, and claims management activities with a focus on timely resolutions and carrier coordination. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of claims handling, an adjuster license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience; agency advocate or liaison role preferred.
• Licensed Insurance Adjuster or state equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage high-volume work with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Meet all production, quality, and service expectations.
• Deliver outstanding service by anticipating client needs and responding promptly.
• Serve as a dedicated advocate with ongoing support and consultation.
• Manage complex or delayed claims to timely and favorable outcomes.
• Review aggravated inequity loss reports and take corrective actions.
• Track triggered claim activities and follow-up actions.
• Conduct and participate in formal claims reviews and audits.
• Monitor workers compensation claims and drive them to closure.
• Perform reserve analysis to ensure timely reserves.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to influence outcomes.
• Mediates between clients and carriers for timely resolutions.
• Educate clients on statute changes and state procedures.
• Identify trends and mitigate risk with Risk Advocates.
• Assist with Producer presentations and contribute claims insights.
• Prepare stewardship and unit stat reporting.
