Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a dedicated Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, determine payments, and ensure accurate documentation per policy.

The role requires reviewing loss estimates, pursuing subrogation opportunities, and maintaining strong client relations. Strong communication, analytical, and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and total loss evaluations.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate with MS Office proficiency.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to meet or exceed service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims, assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files per policy.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; handles salvage disposition.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability and damage analysis on claims assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports quality programs.
• Travel as required.
