Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, determine payments, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

You will identify subrogation opportunities, manage salvage, and communicate actions with insureds, clients, and brokers. This role emphasizes teamwork, meeting deadlines, and maintaining strong professional relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage and makes payments.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage and damage analysis.
• Supports the organization’s quality programs.
• Travels as required.
