Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims administration, seeks a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, determine payments, and ensure files are properly documented to meet policy requirements.

The role emphasizes timely action plans, subrogation opportunities, and clear communication with insureds, clients, and brokers, while maintaining strong client relations and following company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to review property damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms and title requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to meet service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; analyzes payments and codes files.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim action with insured, client, and broker.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
• Travels as required.
