Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely action plans, and proactive communication with insureds and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (or higher) and appropriate adjuster licenses, with strong communication and computer skills. A comprehensive benefits package is provided including health, 401k, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms may be preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• PC literate with Microsoft Office; analytical and interpretive skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures files are documented and coded per policy.
• Manages action plans to meet state deadlines and expedite resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and supports quality programs.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims; travels as required.
