Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Advisor, Professional Liability to analyze and manage complex D&O, EPL and E&O liability claims. The role involves thorough investigations, reporting, settlement negotiations, and coordinating legal defense.

A deep understanding of insurance principles and strong analytical skills are essential. Remote nationwide work is supported, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Ten (10) years of complex claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Masters or Juris Doctorate degree preferred.
• Licenses as required; designations such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, AIC preferred.

Mansioni

• Analyzes and processes complex D&O, EPL and E&O liability claims; investigates and determines exposure.
• Conducts investigations and provides reports on new events and actions.
• Negotiates settlements up to authority level.
• Calculates reserves and monitors reserve adequacy.
• Coordinates legal defense and reviews counsel invoices.
• Uses cost containment techniques and identifies fraud or recovery opportunities.
• Represents company in depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Maintains client communications and proper documentation.
