The ideal candidate holds an active adjuster license and has at least two years in claims adjusting, with strong analytical and negotiation skills and experience with major claims systems like Guidewire or Duck Creek.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license in your jurisdiction.
• 2 years in claims adjusting (auto, property, casualty, or workers' comp).
• Strong investigative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation.
• Familiarity with claims management systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with strong file documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews, and gathering evidence
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages against policy terms
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits
• Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and third-party experts as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely claim file documentation
• Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and unfair claims practices
