National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) seeks a Claims Adjudicator to join our Madison team. You will adjudicate a variety of life insurance and related claims, communicate with policyholders, agents, funeral directors, and beneficiaries, and document findings with accuracy in line with service goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School or GED
• LOMA Level I Certificate, LOMA ACS, Wisconsin Preneed Certification preferred
• One year claims processing experience or equivalent business experience; two years customer service or insurance/financial experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately adjudicate claims within stated service goals.
• Follow processing procedures and verify forms per state regulation.
• Enter and process life, annuity and prened related claims including various rider and trust claims.
• Provide phone support for claims related calls and correspondence with empathy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team to meet service standards and workload coverage.
