Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX, is seeking a Sr. Claims Specialist to review, analyze, and adjudicate moderately complex claims with accuracy and compassion under general supervision.

You will apply policy provisions and guidelines to determine eligibility and deliver timely outcomes that support policyholders and the company’s financial strength. This onsite role requires four days per week in the office (Mon–Thu) with core days subject to change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Policy interpretation and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify claim submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze and adjudicate claims using policy provisions and guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies and determine resolutions.
• Document case details in claims systems for timely processing and payment.
• Communicate with claimants, beneficiaries, agents, and internal partners by phone, email, or mail.
