Job summary

Virtual Labs is seeking a senior Integration Developer to join our CJIS-focused team for Oracle Public Safety solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy real-time and batch data integrations linking CAD, RMS, JMS, and external law enforcement repositories.

Deep CJIS security knowledge, cryptography, and enterprise integration patterns are required to ensure compliant, auditable, and scalable interfaces across agencies. Remote USA work with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Citizenship required due to CJIS access.
• Public Safety / CJIS Experience: Experience handling CJIS data integrations.
• Familiarity with FBI CJIS Security Policy, auditing, encryption, identity verification.
• Familiarity with CAD/RMS/JMS workflows.
• 4+ years integration engineering using middleware/iPaaS (OIC, MuleSoft, Camel, or cloud services).
• Strong programming in Java, Python, C#, or Node.js.
• Experience building secure RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and SOAP/XML.
• Strong SQL with Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Cloud & Security: OCI, AWS GovCloud, or Azure Government.
• TLS/mTLS, FIPS 140, API gateways, OAuth 2.0 / SAML.

Responsibilities

• Integration Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch interfaces between Oracle Public Safety modules and external databases.
• CJIS Compliance & Data Security: Enforce FBI CJIS Security Policy including encryption, MFA handoffs, RBAC and audit logging.
• Standards & Protocols: Develop interfaces using NIEM/GJXDM, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
• Testing & Deployment: Create unit, integration, and security tests; support UAT and interface validation across environments.
• Technical Documentation: Produce ICDs, data flow diagrams, API schemas, and deployment playbooks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Oracle architects, agency liaisons, PMs, and security leads to maintain uptime.
